VISION

Our vision is to see lives changed by Jesus.

MISSION

Our mission is to be a church family, worshipping and preaching Jesus Christ, teaching the bible, praying and witnessing to the community.

OUR VALUES

We draw our values from the Bible:

The Bible

Our foundation is the Bible, which is the true, infallible and inerrant word of God.

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers us with spiritual gifts to equip us in the building of His church.

Priesthood of all believers

We believe in the priesthood of all believers. All members take an active part in church life and worship. The leadership’s role is to equip, encourage and enable the people in the church to become the people God wants them to be.

Relationships

As a church we are people in relationship sharing our lives as a family and friends. Living and growing together, we are people who learn from and encourage each other to be like Jesus.

Local community

We are called to reach out as salt and light in our local community. We share The Good News of Jesus by word and practical actions; also partnering with other local Bible-believing churches.

OUR FAITH

We believe in a God who is everywhere, all-powerful and all-knowing. We believe in God the Trinity: Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. We believe the only way people can be restored to a right relationship with God is through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We believe that our purpose as a church is to fulfil the Great Commission: [...] Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you [...] (Matthew 28:16-20). We try to achieve this by reaching out to people both locally and globally with the good news of God’s love. We also model the family of God by encouraging and supporting each other to be like Jesus.

We believe that to be Christ-centred we need to be Bible-centred. This is why we focus on Jesus Christ daily through reading and/or listening to the Bible, using the Gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8-10), and meeting both on a Sunday and through the week.
