Waltham Forest Youth for Christ

Youth for Christ are about seeing young people’s lives changed by Jesus. They seek to do this by showing Jesus in a way which is relevant to every young person in Waltham Forest in places like schools, prisons, churches and local communities through the use of sport, music, the arts and so much more! They demonstrate the love of God, declare who Jesus is, encourage a decision to follow Him and disciple young people to live their lives to the full.

TENS.jpg

Transform Europe Now

TEN Helps Christian nationals in Europe to reach out in evangelism, church planting and compassionate care.

The essence of TEN's work in Europe

  • To partner with local Christians who speak the language, know the culture and stay for the long term

  • Engage in church-based, holistic mission—evangelism, church planting, social action, humanitarian aid and education

  • To encourage church partnerships and short-term mission trips

  • Always serving the needs of the local church and being guided by our national partners rather than prescribing methodology from afar

  • Ensuring that at least 85p in every £1 donated is spent on transforming lives in Europe

  • Constant monitoring to ensure TEN support creates empowerment rather than dependency

Love in Action - Uganda

Love in Action is a Christian organization that seeks to demonstrate God’s love in practical ways, by providing support, education and care for orphans and needy families in Uganda, especially those families affected by HIV/AIDS.

They achieve this by identifying and supporting existing community-based initiatives with funding, advice and resources. They also create new projects to respond to unmet community needs.

Noor Ministries - Pakistan

Noor Ministries brings a quality Christian education to poor families in the Okara District of Pakistan. The Life Transforming Centre was founded in 2007 and now, with a second school, provides education for nearly 200 children from poor local families. The schools draw students from the local villages and provide the opportunity for poor families to give their children a Christian education and enhance their future prospects in study or employment.

The UK Charity was established in 2011 to send aid to support this work, giving more children the opportunities that a good education brings. It can be contacted via the Facebook account.
